In the vineyard and in the cellars – Tradition and sustainability | Comm. G.B. Burlotto
We inherit from the past the value of tradition that has always distinguished our work; knowing how to interpret and enhance the circumstances that the season, the vineyard and the vintage offer us.
This is how our wine is born.
OUR VISION
True tradition
is a dynamic variable
In our view, tradition does not teach us to always cultivate grapes and make wine in the same way, according to some fossilized protocol, but in fact it advocates for the opposite.
Tradition has taught us to elevate to the highest the uniqueness of each vine and each variety as they are influenced by their terroir and the season. That is, to create a work of interpretation that expresses honest craftsmanship, harvest after harvest, wine after wine without dogma, ritual, or narcissism.

OUR WINE
Every single bottle
is the product of a journey
This is how we work today: acting after a journey of reflection and comparison between ourselves and with others. Each wine is born as the result of a path adapted to the circumstances of the vintage, the potential resources of the cru and the grape, the sensations it arouses as, in the darkness of the cellar, it transforms, matures, refines, and reveals itself. We have always worked without the model of a “perfect wine” in mind, but not without a compass.
IN THE VINEYARD
Delicacy and patience
as instruments of labor
There are some fixed guidelines from which we do not deviate: the essential contribution of manual operations in the vineyard, the sustainability of our viticulture, the use of large barrels, the delicacy of our cellar work, the importance of patience and waiting, the trust that we place in the possibilities of each wine to give life to its own expressive journey, which we may not always be able to predict, because this is the essence of our work and what perhaps distinguishes it from that of all the others.

OUR VALUES
Classicism for
us:choice, memory
and destiny
Every single step we take, and every choice we make, is inspired by values such as classicism, solemnity, balance and precision, without ever risking to homogenize the qualities of each vineyard or to depress the “emotional” potential of the wines that are born from it. We believe that this is the way to remember, to understand, and to offer gratitude for those who have come before us. Those who forged our path, as difficult as it is to only imagine, are carried forward in our work, becoming real, concrete, transformed into each bottle, in each glass on a table, into each sip of wine, and in everything from which beauty blossoms.
The memory of our origins breathes in every choice we make
